Reddit appointed Stephen Riad as its new Executive Vice President (EVP) of Advertising Sales. The move follows the departure of Mike Romoff, the previous head of ad sales, who is leaving to pursue a new professional chapter.

Riad boasts a proven track record of driving revenue growth. Internally, he served as Reddit’s VP of Global Mid-Market, SMB Sales and Channel Partnerships. He previously led global strategy and sales teams at Google.

The appointment is a key step as Reddit seeks to scale its advertising business and monetization efforts. COO Jen Wong stated Riad is the right leader for the company's next phase of growth.
