SAP announced a long-term investment of up to €300 million in France at the annual Choose France summit.
The initiative aims to accelerate adoption of trusted cloud and Business AI solutions across the public sector and regulated industries. SAP will open a new Sovereign Cloud and AI region in Paris by the first quarter of 2027.
This infrastructure will include three dedicated data centers. SAP intends to be the first non-French provider to earn the stringent SecNumCloud certification.
The investment will create approximately 100 specialized jobs in cloud and AI. Defense group Thales will be among the first to migrate its systems to the new platform.
