Sadot Group Inc. (NASDAQ:SDOT) appointed Michael D. Murray as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer, effective September 15, 2026. Murray succeeds Chagay Ravid, who stepped down from both roles by mutual agreement.
Ravid will remain on the Board of Directors and transition to the newly created position of Executive Director. He will report directly to Murray. Ravid had served as CEO since May 2025.
Murray brings over 25 years of experience in finance and executive management. He previously served as CEO for GBT Tokenize Corp. and GBT Technologies Inc.
Murray’s employment agreement includes a $200,000 annual base salary. The contract also features a restricted stock award valued at $100,000. The company confirmed Ravid's transition was not due to any disagreements regarding operations or policies.
