Siemens Energy will rebrand as Omterra, uniting its core business and wind division, Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy. The change establishes a distinct corporate identity following the 2020 spin-off from Siemens AG.
A time-limited licensing agreement for the Siemens brand name prompted the transition. The rebranding process will begin in stages starting in late 2026.
Leadership stated the Omterra name reflects the firm's global presence and energy technology expertise. The transition will not alter strategic direction or impact operations for customers and partners.
