The deal targets the growing consumption of audio-first content on the platform. Approximately 212 million monthly listeners engage with audio-centric content on YouTube in the U.S.
The collaboration provides SiriusXM with a substantial new revenue stream. It expands the company's advertising reach to include all podcast content on YouTube, regardless of network affiliation.
