Skillz Inc. officially rebranded to Firy Inc. during its 2026 annual stockholder meeting. CEO Andrew Paradise described the change as a rebirth reflecting a new operational strategy. The company expects its new ticker, FIRY, to become effective on June 22.
Firy now operates as a three-part business including real-money gaming, RZR ad-tech, and Beamable infrastructure. Last-twelve-month revenue reached $112 million, representing a 25% increase. Management reported a significant decrease in sales and marketing expenses during this period.
A federal jury awarded the company $652 million in actual damages following a legal victory against Papaya Gaming. Firy projects a total potential recovery ranging from $420 million to over $1.4 billion. This capital and the strategic pivot underpin management's plan to scale the business.
