Super Micro Computer Inc. opened a new business complex in San Jose, California, to expand its Silicon Valley operations. This fourth and largest Bay Area campus spans 32.8 acres. The facility provides over 714,000 square feet of space.
The expansion increases the company's regional footprint to nearly 4 million square feet. The site supports the design, manufacturing, testing, and distribution of data center solutions. Operations will focus on meeting the rising demand for AI infrastructure.
The project is expected to create hundreds of jobs in engineering and manufacturing. SMCI stock currently trades below its 200-day moving average.
