A Motley Fool analysis published October 4, 2026, highlighted SanDisk’s performance amid the artificial intelligence infrastructure boom.

SanDisk’s sales surged 372% to $8.9 billion in the fiscal fourth quarter of 2026. Gross margins expanded by 58 percentage points compared with the year-ago quarter. Non-GAAP earnings per share rose to $39.25, up from $0.29 a year earlier.

The analysis identifies SanDisk as a beneficiary of rising NAND memory demand from AI data centers. It notes that the NAND market can be more cyclical than the traditional hard drive market, but suggests the current AI-driven demand cycle could support SanDisk’s sales for several more years.

SanDisk shares rose more than 1,400% over the past twelve months.
