StoneX Group Inc. acquired Advanced Marketing Group, LLC (AMG) on Wednesday. AMG is a merchandiser specializing in feed ingredients, pet food components, and organic fertilizer.
The acquisition expands StoneX’s feed-ingredients platform by introducing animal-based protein products. The deal also broadens the firm's client base across North America.
StoneX will integrate AMG into its Supply & Trading division. This structure allows AMG to leverage StoneX’s capital, global reach, and risk-management platform to scale operations.
AMG owners Ted Skinner and Pete Schoonveld noted that the merger provides the capital and infrastructure necessary for growth they could not achieve independently.
