SNGN Romgaz SA shareholders officially approved the acquisition of the Azomureș chemical fertilizer plant. This decision follows the conclusion of negotiations with Swiss trader Ameropa in late May.
The transaction includes a fixed payment of 46.46 million euros. Additional costs cover consumables, raw materials, and operational maintenance during the transition.
This approval authorizes management to sign final documents to complete the deal. The acquisition marks the state-owned gas producer's entry into the fertilizer industry.
