SNGN Romgaz SA received government approval on September 18, 2026, to expand its workforce. The company will add 860 new positions and fill 270 existing vacancies. This expansion supports strategic projects including Neptun Deep and the Iernut power plant. The growth also facilitates the takeover of Azomureș's activities.
Romgaz also amended a gas sale contract with E.ON Energie Romania S.A. on September 18, 2026. The addendum increases the total contract value by RON 13,201.32. The revised total contract value now stands at RON 765,038,472.65.
