Canadian national Connor Riley Moucka pleaded guilty to computer fraud and conspiracy charges for hacking Snowflake customers. He targeted at least 165 companies during the 2024 cyberattack campaign.
The scheme compromised sensitive data including social security numbers, financial records, and call logs. Moucka and his co-conspirators extorted more than $2.5 million in ransom payments from victims.
Major companies affected by the breaches include AT&T, Ticketmaster, and Advance Auto Parts. Moucka faces a maximum of 32 years in prison and awaits sentencing on October 27.
