Snowflake unveiled a suite of AI-focused product upgrades and strategic partnerships at its annual Summit 26. The company launched Snowflake CoCo, an AI coding agent formerly known as Cortex Code. This tool automates workflows and accelerates development on enterprise data.
Snowflake expanded its Horizon Catalog to improve system interoperability. The catalog allows different systems to access a single, governed copy of data without duplication. The company also increased support for the open-source Apache Iceberg table format.
A new partnership with Anthropic enables customers to use Claude AI models within Snowflake’s secure environment. Snowflake also strengthened its existing strategic relationship with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
