Sony has announced a price increase for its one-month and three-month PlayStation Plus subscriptions for new customers in select regions, effective May 20, 2026. The company cited "ongoing market conditions" as the reason for the change. The new starting prices will be $10.99 for a one-month plan and $27.99 for a three-month plan in the US, with similar adjustments in Europe and the UK.

The price adjustment will not affect existing subscribers unless their subscription lapses or they make changes to their plan. However, current subscribers in Turkey and India will be subject to the new pricing. The company has not specified which other regions will be impacted and has not announced changes to the 12-month subscription option or the higher-tier Extra and Premium plans.
