Singapore-based Startale Labs closed a $63 million Series A funding round. SBI Group provided a $50 million investment. Sony Innovation Fund contributed the remaining $13 million. This capital will expand Japan's tokenized finance infrastructure.

Startale will scale its Strium blockchain for tokenized securities and real-world asset trading. The company plans to boost adoption of its JPYSC (Japanese Yen) and USDSC (US Dollar) stablecoins. It will also develop a consumer-facing SuperApp for asset management and payments.

This investment deepens the collaboration between Startale, SBI, and Sony. The partners are jointly pushing into onchain financial services in Japan.
