SpaceXAI is planning at least one new large-scale data center in Texas. The facility is expected to match or exceed the gigawatt-scale capacity of the company's existing hub in Memphis, Tennessee. SpaceXAI, formed after SpaceX acquired xAI, is currently exploring potential sites in Austin, Bastrop, and Conroe. Development options include constructing new facilities or converting existing warehouses.

This expansion aims to increase AI computing capacity as SpaceXAI scales to become a significant cloud provider. The company already holds agreements to lease infrastructure to customers including Google and Anthropic. The new Texas data center will likely house hundreds of thousands of Nvidia GPUs. Super Micro’s CEO confirmed his firm is currently building a new gigawatt-scale facility for SpaceXAI.
