S&P Global Market Intelligence has entered into a collaboration with BEC Financial Technologies to provide a new cloud-based post-trade solution for custody and settlement. The solution is designed to assist BEC's member banks in Denmark with meeting upcoming Danish and European regulations, aiming to lower costs and risks while enhancing the competitiveness of the Danish capital market. The integration of S&P Global's Securities Processing platform aligns with BEC's strategy of becoming a leading fintech integrator for Danish banks. Rather than developing all solutions in-house, BEC is focusing on building an ecosystem of technology partners to integrate into its full-service banking platform. This collaboration will provide BEC's customers with more competitive tools for efficiency, scalability, and compliance in post-trade processes for both domestic and international securities trading. It also promises a more streamlined securities custody and settlement process, including easier access to data.
