The research indicates a significant shift, with 58% of organizations now actively pursuing autonomous AI capabilities that can initiate actions without human intervention. The report emphasizes that the adoption of these advanced AI agents will necessitate a critical overhaul of existing IT infrastructure. Agentic AI consumes substantially more capacity than traditional chat models by launching multiple complex workflows simultaneously. This creates new challenges and requirements for data quality, provenance, and security frameworks to manage non-human identities securely.
