S&P Global announced its Mobility business will be named Mobility Global, Inc. The name change coincides with the unit's planned separation into an independent, publicly traded company. S&P Global first announced the separation intent in April 2025.
The name Mobility Global reflects the business's position as a key provider of intelligence and data for the automotive industry. The division retains its portfolio of well-known brands. These brands include CARFAX, automotiveMastermind, and Polk Automotive Solutions.
Completion of the separation remains subject to customary conditions. These conditions include final board and regulatory approvals.
