The United States labor market saw a reduction of 514,000 full-time positions during June, bringing the total number of full-time workers to 133.66 million. This figure represents the lowest level of full-time employment recorded since December 2024.
This latest contraction signifies the third straight month of declining full-time job numbers. Over this three-month period, the total loss of full-time roles has reached a cumulative 1.01 million positions.
