Total assets under management for exchange-traded funds listed in the United States have climbed to an all-time high of $15.6 trillion. This milestone follows a period of rapid expansion, with the total asset base doubling in size over the previous 30 months.

Investor demand has driven more than $1 trillion in new capital into these funds since the start of the year. This year-to-date allocation volume represents nearly twice the previous record established for the same timeframe.
