Surf Air Mobility elected Shawn Pelsinger as Chairman of the Board, effective July 24, 2026. He succeeds Carl Albert, who transitions to Chairman Emeritus after retiring at the end of his term.
Pelsinger joined the board in October 2025 following a decade-long executive tenure at Palantir Technologies. He previously established the 2021 strategic partnership between Palantir and Surf Air Mobility.
The company will leverage Pelsinger’s software expertise to accelerate development of its SurfOS platform.
