Star Copper Corp. mobilized a second drill rig for its 15,000-metre program at the Star Project in British Columbia.

The copper-gold porphyry project is currently undergoing step-out drilling at the Star Main location. This phase tests the northeast extension of the hypogene system following previous positive results.

The additional rig accelerates the testing of high-priority targets within the scheduled exploration campaign. These efforts aim to refine the nested porphyry model to define a maiden resource.

The strategy addresses rising global copper demand fueled by electrification.
