Stellantis plans to expand its Jeep brand portfolio in Europe to six models by 2030. The expansion features a new large D-segment SUV developed through a partnership with Dongfeng Motor.

Dongfeng Motor will manufacture the vehicle in Wuhan, China, for subsequent sale in the European market. Stellantis has identified Jeep as one of its four priority global brands for investment.

The move signals an increasing reliance on Chinese partnerships for manufacturing, technology, and supply chain solutions. This strategic pivot aims to enhance the automaker's competitive position across Europe.
