STMicroelectronics reported strong financial results for the second quarter of 2026. Net revenues reached $3.49 billion. Revenues increased 26% year-over-year. The company announced a net income of $222 million. This represents a significant turnaround from a $97 million net loss in the year-ago quarter. Higher revenues in its automotive and computer peripheral segments primarily drove this growth. Management noted that demand increased across all end markets during the second quarter.

The company provided an optimistic outlook. It forecasts third-quarter net revenues of approximately $3.70 billion. Gross margin is expected to be around 37%. STMicroelectronics anticipates revenue growth to accelerate further in the fourth quarter. This acceleration is due to strong demand from customer programs in AI data centers and satellite communications.
