Suzlon Energy secured a 201.6 MW wind power project from Waaree Forever Energies. Waaree Forever Energies serves as the independent power producer arm of the Waaree Group. This agreement marks the Waaree Group's first entry into the wind energy sector.

The contract represents Suzlon's second major order under its integrated DevCo model within a single week. The project is located in Andhra Pradesh. Suzlon’s total order book in Andhra Pradesh now approaches 1 GW.

Suzlon will install 64 of its S144 wind turbine generators for the project. The company will manage the entire lifecycle, including land acquisition and construction. Suzlon will also provide long-term operations and maintenance services.

The stock reached a daily high following the announcement. Share prices later traded lower during the afternoon session. Market analysts described the overall investor reaction as mixed.
