Suzlon Group announced a ₹550 crore investment in new AI-powered wind blade manufacturing facilities. The expansion will establish three factories in Gujarat, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu to meet growing domestic demand for wind energy equipment and support execution of the company’s substantial order book.

The projects will be funded through internal accruals and are expected to be completed by 2027. The smart factories will use AI, robotics, and automation to improve productivity, quality, and safety.

The investment will increase Suzlon’s manufacturing network to 18 factories. The projects are projected to create approximately 3,000 direct jobs and 12,000 indirect jobs, primarily in rural areas.
