Titan Mining Corporation announced positive metallurgical results for its Kilbourne Graphite Project. The results confirm the project's ability to produce battery-grade material. Locked-cycle testing validated the company's concentrator design. The testing produced a 95.9% graphite concentrate. It achieved 91.4% recovery. These figures exceed the project's Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) design basis.
The results also confirmed the downstream processing flowsheet. This flowsheet consistently yielded purified graphite of at least 99.90% fixed carbon. The process achieved a spherical graphite yield of approximately 66%. This yield is above the industry average of around 50%. These milestones support the project's ongoing Feasibility Study.
These findings represent a crucial step in Titan's plan. Titan plans to build the first fully integrated U.S. graphite supply chain in over 70 years. The company advances engineering for both the concentrator and a Secondary Transformation Plant. This work aims to further de-risk the project.
