CEO Elon Musk confirmed Tesla is resuming development of the Dojo 3 supercomputer. The project had been previously paused.

The restart follows the AI5 chip design reaching 'good shape.' Dojo 3 processes data for training the Full Self-Driving (FSD) software and the Optimus robot.

This move advances Tesla's goal to create powerful, in-house AI training hardware. The company seeks to reduce dependency on external suppliers, such as Nvidia.

Musk issued a call for top engineers to join the project. He expects the new chips to become the 'highest volume in the world.'
