Tesla appointed Joe Ward, Vice President for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), to lead global sales operations, according to Bloomberg.
Ward is a 14-year veteran of the company, having served in various roles since joining Tesla in 2010.
The promotion follows the departure of the head of North American sales and occurs amid a broader series of executive exits.
Tesla currently faces intensifying competition and significant sales pressure in global markets.
The company recently reported sharp sales declines across several key European territories previously managed by Ward.
Management intends for the appointment to stabilize the sales organization and address ongoing demand challenges.
