Tesla's sales in China fell to 26,006 vehicles in October, marking the lowest point in three years and a 35.8% decrease from the previous year. This sharp decline has shrunk Tesla's share of the Chinese electric vehicle market to 3.2%, a significant drop from 8.7% in the preceding month and its lowest in over three years. The drop in sales highlights the increasing pressure Tesla faces from domestic competitors in the world's largest auto market, which has become hyper-competitive with a widening field of EV makers. While sales within China faltered, the company's exports of vehicles made in China did see a rise to a two-year high of 35,491 units.
