Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) is expanding its partnership with Nvidia. The company will integrate Nvidia’s AI and accelerated computing platforms across its design and manufacturing workflows. TSMC announced the collaboration at the GTC conference in Taipei on June 1, 2026.
The partnership addresses the rising complexity and computational demands of advanced-node chip production. TSMC will deploy the cuLitho platform for computational lithography. The manufacturer will also use Nvidia technologies for process simulation. AI-powered defect inspection will utilize the Metropolis platform.
These integrations aim to enhance manufacturing yields at advanced fabrication plants. The technology shift targets reduced cycle times. TSMC expects the move to improve overall operational productivity.
