AI networking startup Eridu Corp. emerged from stealth after securing $200 million in Series A funding. CEO Drew Perkins leads the firm to address data center bottlenecks caused by the massive data demands of modern AI models. The company is developing a specialized network switch designed to scale AI workloads more efficiently than existing infrastructure.
Socratic Partners, John Doerr, Hudson River Trading, Capricorn Investment Group, and Matter Venture Partners led the financing round. Strategic investors include major publicly traded chipmakers MediaTek Inc. and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC). Eridu will deploy the capital to commercialize its hardware and scale its internal operations.
