Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) announced an additional $100 billion investment in its U.S. operations on July 16, 2026. This expansion increases the company's total U.S. commitment to $265 billion. Soaring global demand for advanced artificial intelligence chips drove the decision.
