In a significant portfolio shift, First Eagle Investment Management reduced its holding in Texas Instruments (TXN) by 98.57% during the second quarter of 2026. According to its quarterly 13F filing, the firm sold over 3.6 million shares, cutting the position from $713.32 million to just $15.64 million. This disclosure is based on trades made between March 31 and June 30, 2026, and made public on August 5.

The move is particularly noteworthy as some of First Eagle's own fund commentaries had cited Texas Instruments as a leading contributor to performance during the same quarter. The timing also coincided with a strong financial report from TXN, which announced a 23% year-over-year revenue increase for the second quarter.
