Texas Instruments will begin mass production of next-generation robotics semiconductors before the end of 2026. TI Korea President Park Joong-seo announced the expansion at a Seoul seminar on July 9, 2026.
The company aims to address hardware challenges in the humanoid robot market by repurposing proven automotive technology. TI will provide integrated solutions featuring microcontrollers and gallium nitride power semiconductors.
The firm maintains a portfolio of 85,000 reference designs for customer use. TI cites its in-house manufacturing capabilities as a primary competitive advantage.
