UnitedHealth Group executive Robert Hunter will become president of UnitedHealthcare, the company’s primary insurance division. Hunter announced the appointment in a LinkedIn post on Monday, September 28.
A longtime company leader, Hunter previously served as president of its Medicare business and most recently as CEO of Government Programs at UnitedHealthcare. His promotion puts an experienced internal leader at the helm of the company’s largest and most visible business unit.
