Baker Hughes secured a major contract from Searah North Ganal Limited, a joint venture between Eni and PETRONAS. This agreement supports the Kutei Northern Hub development project offshore Indonesia. The project integrates the Geng North and Gehem deepwater natural gas fields.
Baker Hughes will supply 17 deepwater horizontal tree systems. The package includes associated manifolds, controls, and connection systems. The company will also deploy its Cordant™ asset protection and condition monitoring solutions.
These technologies aim to enhance the efficiency and safety of subsea operations. The development is expected to significantly increase Indonesia's liquefied natural gas (LNG) production capacity.
