NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang met with Rebellions co-founder Sunghyun Park at NVIDIA headquarters on August 21, 2026. The companies are exploring a technology partnership, direct investment, or a full acquisition of the South Korean AI chip designer.
Rebellions specializes in neural processing units (NPUs) designed for large-scale AI inference tasks. The startup has raised approximately $850 million from investors including SK Hynix and Samsung Ventures.
The move signals NVIDIA’s strategy to strengthen its artificial intelligence sector leadership. A deal would allow NVIDIA to integrate specialized NPU technology while neutralizing a potential competitor.
