VICI Properties Inc. acquired the Carambola Beach Resort in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. Club Med will redevelop and operate the site under its high-end Exclusive Collection brand.
VICI will finance the complete redevelopment of the 150-key property. Both companies will enter a long-term, triple-net lease agreement upon the project's completion.
Construction is scheduled to begin in the summer of 2026. The resort plans a grand reopening for the fourth quarter of 2027.
The project will generate significant direct and indirect regional jobs. This acquisition marks VICI’s expansion into the premium all-inclusive sector through experiential brand partnerships.
