Virtuix has partnered with the University of Central Florida’s Institute for Simulation & Training to demonstrate real-time humanoid robot control via the Omni One omni-directional treadmill. This application enables operators to move naturally while a robot mirrors their actions, addressing a primary challenge in remote robot teleoperation.

In a concurrent move, Virtuix announced a partnership with 1HMX to produce the Nexus NX1. This full-body system integrates the Omni One with haptic feedback gloves to facilitate both robot teleoperation and physical AI training.

These initiatives mark a strategic expansion for Virtuix into the high-growth robotics and embodied AI sectors. No significant market reaction was noted following the announcement.
