Wesco International signed a definitive agreement to acquire Singapore-based Newark Engineering Group for approximately $136 million. The purchase price represents roughly S$175 million.

This acquisition strengthens Wesco’s data center value chain through engineered cooling and lifecycle services. Newark Engineering specializes in designing, installing, and maintaining critical thermal management systems.

The deal expands Wesco’s presence in Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. It provides access to a blue-chip customer base including global technology and Fortune 500 companies.

Wesco expects the transaction to be accretive to its EBITDA margin. The company anticipates generating attractive returns within the first year of ownership. The deal is scheduled to close in the third quarter of 2026, pending regulatory approvals.
