The feature aims to make shopping more intuitive by providing relevant product suggestions based on user queries, such as planning for a trip or an event. The collaboration seeks to create a seamless transition from product discovery to purchase.
Customers can link their Walmart accounts to receive personalized recommendations based on past shopping history. Users can also utilize Walmart+ membership benefits for fast delivery, with some items arriving in as little as 30 minutes.
John Furner, Walmart’s incoming CEO, described the move as part of the "next great evolution in retail" into "agent-led commerce."
