Archer Aviation signed a definitive agreement to acquire three Boeing subsidiaries: Wisk Aero, SkyGrid, and Insitu. The deal consolidates decades of development in autonomous flight, electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL), and unmanned aircraft systems (UAS).

The acquisition establishes a physical AI platform for the aerospace and defense sectors. CEO Adam Goldstein characterized the move as a watershed moment to diversify Archer’s platform and accelerate revenue growth.

Boeing will maintain strategic upside through an equity stake in Archer. A technology-sharing arrangement ensures Boeing retains access to Wisk’s autonomous flight technology for its current and future aircraft programs.
