Boeing expanded its German industry team for the MQ-28 Ghost Bat autonomous drone program at the ILA Berlin Air Show. New partners Diehl Defence and Rohde & Schwarz will help customize the Australian-developed platform for the German armed forces (Bundeswehr).
Diehl Defence will lead weapons integration and technical support. Rohde & Schwarz will integrate mission and communications systems with German military assets. These companies join Rheinmetall, the lead strategic partner for systems integration in Germany.
The partnership positions the MQ-28 for the German Luftwaffe with a target delivery date of 2029. This collaboration reflects a broader trend of multinational development in the defense sector.
