Lockheed Martin, in partnership with Verizon and NVIDIA, successfully demonstrated the NetSense™ system for detecting and tracking unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). The solution integrates Verizon’s 5G network with NVIDIA’s AI Aerial platform to monitor public spaces and critical infrastructure.
A high-traffic demonstration in Miami proved the system's ability to analyze RF disturbances and predict flight paths. NetSense delivers real-time alerts to provide persistent airspace awareness as drone usage increases.
Lockheed Martin will offer the technology as a subscription-based service. Pilot deployments will begin in late 2026 and early 2027. Full commercial availability is scheduled for 2027.
