RTX subsidiary Raytheon signed a $3.7 billion contract to provide Patriot GEM-T interceptor missiles to Ukraine. This direct commercial sale aims to replenish Ukraine’s inventory of air defense systems used to intercept tactical ballistic missiles.

A new production facility in Germany will support the contract to increase manufacturing capacity. This expansion is intended to enhance supply chain resiliency for the U.S. and its international allies.

Raytheon President Phil Jasper stated the company is investing heavily to meet sustained global demand for missile defense. The agreement represents one of the most significant recent defense contracts linked to Western military aid for Ukraine.
