RTX's Pratt & Whitney business secured a $1.3 billion undefinitized contract for F135 engine spare parts and support equipment. This Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) agreement funds maintenance supplies and deployable support packages through fiscal year 2026. The F135 engine powers all variants of the F-35 Lightning II fighter jet.
The contract supports the U.S. military and international F-35 customers across 20 allied nations. The global fleet currently includes more than 1,500 engines. These units operate from 42 bases and 13 ships worldwide.
This award ensures operational readiness for the global F-35 program. It reinforces a long-term revenue stream for RTX amid sustained demand for military modernization.
