Amazon launched Amazon Supply Chain Services (ASCS) to provide logistics and fulfillment to all businesses. The offering extends beyond platform sellers to include retail and manufacturing companies.

The service provides access to Amazon’s freight, distribution, multi-channel fulfillment, and parcel delivery infrastructure. Capabilities include ocean, air, and ground transportation alongside warehousing and inventory management.

Amazon offers two-to-five-day shipping through the new network. Deliveries are available seven days a week.

The initiative aims to create a significant revenue stream modeled after Amazon Web Services (AWS). CEO Andy Jassy positioned the service for companies seeking to outsource complex logistics management. This expansion shifts Amazon from a retailer to a foundational commerce platform for the consumer discretionary sector.
