Amazon secured a new package delivery agreement with the United States Postal Service (USPS). The USPS will retain approximately 80% of current delivery volume from its largest customer.

This outcome reverses previous reports that Amazon might cut parcel volume by two-thirds. The deal provides significant financial relief to the struggling government agency.

Amazon utilizes the USPS network to reach every residential address in the U.S. The USPS reaches rural areas that Amazon's own logistics cannot yet replicate. The agreement now awaits final approval from the Postal Regulatory Commission.
